This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
